- Pharmacological actionThe drug has good anthelmintic properties in relation to round or ribbon helminths at all stages of development in cats and dogs. It is also effective against Taenia spp., Toxocara canis, Dipylidium caninum, Toxosaga mystax, Mesocestoides lineatus, Toxascaris leonina, Multiceps multiceps, Trichuris vulpis, Echinococcus multilocularis, Uncinaria stenocephala, Diphyllobothrium latum, Ancylostoma caninum, Echinococcus granulosus.
Praziquantel effectively fights possible disturbance of cestodes of metabolism inside the calcium cell, reduces fumarate reductase, fights the passage of cell membranes of neuromuscular innervation, thereby causing muscle contraction in helminths, completely destroying them.
Pyrantela helps to block the neuromuscular movement of nematodes, with the help of strong depolarization of postsynaptic membranes, destroying them after paralysis. This is a poorly absorbed substance, causes a prolonged action in helminths and causes a low toxic effect in the animal’s body.

Dosage:
Drug is applied per os, individually one-time with meal or on the root of tongue, in the doses shown below:
